The opposites attract each other and this 2 international yoga teachers will once again join energies for a week retreat in Bali and together rise consciousness and open hearts.
Taking place in Ubud, the meca of the yoga, this journey to experience will rejuvenate, transform and nourish your inner life, your deep self. You might have insights, you might feel the urge to change, you may start a new spiritual life, you shall just enjoy. Whatever brings you to this experience, you wont leave the same.
These 2 experienced and inspiring teachers will offer the most amazing experience, both personally and emotionally, taking you into a deeper level of understanding the practice and its transformative essence.
A week of bliss and joy surrounded by the lush nature of the tropical island practicing and learning yoga asanas, alignment, Ayurveda and lifestyle tips. We will also deepen the cosmic connection through the Balinese rituals, visiting sacred places, water temples, climbing sacred mountains and walk in the amazing rice paddies. We will dance and laugh together. We will practice and grow. And do expect some amazing surprises!
The Yoga Bali Retreat with Filipa Veiga and Silvia Stojanovic takes place between the 25th March to the 31st on Azadi Retreat, on top of the lashing rice fields of Ubud.
For this special week we prepared a transformative journey through the self as well as a spiritual
journey to unblock fear and to open yourself to receive the love in your hearts. Dive into the true essence of loving kindness. Discover inner peace, harmony and balance. Grow consciousness, heal and grow. These are 6 days of intensive Yoga practice to release all that holds you back from being your fabulous self.
Our hope for the Bali Yoga retreat has been threefold. To build community, to structure our lives around environmentally sustainable ethics and to promote and provide a healthy yogic lifestyle.

The Balinese are among the most amazing people in the world. They live in communities very well organised where the elders are respected, the decision makers and protect the young.
The Balinese are famous for their bright, colourful and richly cultural ceremonies. The Balinese culture celebrates many occasions during a person's life. From birth to death, these ceremonies are always filled with joy, food, and prayer to their gods. We can see every day cerimonies in the temples and streets and be part of these beautiful way of spiritual living. Its life-transformative.
Green terraced rice fields, volcanic mountains, coconut forests, endless beaches, and exotic flowers are only a part of the island’s spectacular natural beauty. The quality of the paintings, woodcarvings and jewellery will make you understand the magic of the island.
The sunsets are as well phenomenal. On the interior of the island there are rice field views that are simply breathtaking, and the volcanoes in the horizon make perfect scenarios for the picture you will want to keep.

Azadi Retreat is set amongst lush green rice fields with views of sacred Mt Agung on the island of Bali. We are only four minutes drive from downtown Ubud but we will feel like a world away. It will take you 1- 1.5h drive from the Denpasar airport.
The Azadi experience is that of nurturing and unfolding. Enjoy time and space amongst natural surroundings that will give you the freedom from the everyday so they we can focus on the yoga process.
Azadi has a friendly team who is there to support you and be on hand to ensure everything happens exactly as it needs to. We will feel at home.
Each room is only steps away from the surrounding rice fields and opens onto a private deck with outdoor seating. All rooms are are independent and designed with their own unique aspect to allow your guests to experience the stunning beauty and tranquility of the environment.
All Villas are equipped with AC and fans with locally produced organic bath products, bathrobes, slippers and daily housekeeping. They are build with recycled timber, handpicked furniture, fine cotton sheets and authentic Balinese touches are combined with European styling.
The shala is set at the bottom of the retreat giving your group complete privacy and maximum tranquility. Nestled above the banks of the river you can enjoy beautiful rice-field and jungle views as you practice. With recycled iron wood pillars and floor the shala has an organic earthy feel that only Bali can offer.

ABOUT THE TEACHERS
Filipa has been living with her family in Ubud, Bali, for the past 3 years and visiting the island since more then a decade, so you can enjoy Bali with a true Bali expert and insider. Filipa knows the island as few European understanding how to overcome the natural differences and give you the inside tips for your best stay in Bali.
A former dancer, Filipa began her Ashtanga Yoga practice as taught by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois in Lisbon in 2004. Since then, she engaged for further research into the practice with her teacher Paramaguru R. Sharath Jois, the grandson of Pattabhi Jois.
Filipa has been teaching for the past 5 years, specially in the the Yoga Meca, Ubud, in Bali and in Portugal. As an international yoga teacher, her aim is to inspire as many people as possible to live healthy and happy lives by implementing the practice of yoga and eat healthy nourishing food.
Studying Ayurveda since some years, both in India and America, has given her a medicinal approach of the practice of yoga.
Filipa feels blessed to share her life and yoga practice in her blog yoga-me (filipaveiga.blogspot.com). This blog recently gave origin to a book in Portuguese with the same title.
Filipa lives between Bali and Portugal where she dedicates her life inspiring people to transform their lives throw the yoga teaching regular classes, gives workshops and retreats.

Born in Germany, grew up between Germany, Greece and Serbia. Silvia is a very dedicated yoga practitioner for over 10 years who believes that within each student lies a vast wellspring of love and potential, and it’s her job as a teacher to bring that out.
